  • Group Store based at Lea Glen, Florida
    • Control and safe-keeping of stock on spares, A and B-Units for operational requirements
    • Safe-keeping of obsolete spares for group
    • Supply of spares to BU stores for bus repair and maintenance purposes
    • Repair of A and B-Units via Group Store with approved suppliers
    • Replacement of A and B-Units not repairable with new units
    • Daily replenishment of spares to BU stores
    • Daily delivery of spares, A and B-Units to all BU stores
    • Collection of salvage (repairable units) for repair purposes
    • Assistance to BU stores with stores related problems
    • Cycle counts, as well as bi-annually counts
  • BU Stores
    • Control and safe-keeping of stock on spares, A and B-Units
    • Supply of spares, A and B-Units to Technical Department according to the requirements for bus maintenance and repairs
    • Receive and safe-keeping of heavy and fragile spares. i.e. brake drums, domes and glass,   delivered directly to BU store from suppliers: items not kept at Group Store
    • Collection of salvage units (repairable units) from Engineering Department for reconditioned purposes via Group Store
    • Assist BU Technical Department with spares related problems
    • Cycle counts, as well complete counts bi-annually
  • Buying Department
    • Centrally purchases for Head Office, BU’s, Group Store, Dubigeon Body and Coach, Bell Trucking and VOMS Industrial
    • Replenishment on a weekly basis as well as requisitions for BU requirements
    • Negotiate prices with suppliers
    • Follow up on outstanding items
    • Source of new products and/or spares from alternate suppliers – quality and price as main criteria
    • Update of system on a on-going basis with supplier information and pricing
    • Assist BU’s and Group Store  with spares related problems
