Mission

The Larimar Group Information & Technology department is committed to provide, support and maintain a reliable, computerized systems, processes and integrated solutions which will be most cost effective in support of the Larimar Group of Companies strategic aims and objectives.

The department has 329 years of experience between its 21 employees’ and is committed to:

  • Provide effective technology support for all computer systems, processes and web based applications and services to all areas of the businesses.
  • Promote customer interaction and support services.
  • Promote and facilitate the effective integration of technology into the Larimar Group of Companies through planning, programming, training and other support activities.
  • Develop, enhance and manage the company networks to provide high speed and highly functional connectivity among all information resources and group companies.
  • Develop and maintain highly effective, reliable, secure, and innovative ticketing and revenue systems.
  • Facilitate the collection, storage, security and integrity of electronic data while ensuring appropriate access.
  • Promote new uses of information technology within the company through the support for exploratory and innovative applications.
  • Provide leadership for effective strategic and tactical planning in the use of technology
  • Provide fast & reliable access to all information systems.

Group Support

We do support the following aspect of Business to all Group Companies:

  1. Support and maintain the Group Data Centre in terms of the HP Hardware and Micro Soft Software.
  2. Assisting users with all Micro Soft operating and application software.
  3. Maintenance and support of all the ticket equipment on their buses.
  4. Responsible for maintaining the Wages and Salary systems
  5. Support the Time and Attendance systems.
  6. Support on their Embrace ERP system.
  7. Investigate and implement various IT solutions.
  8. Develop and maintain various SQL Databases
  9. Ensure 100% uptime on the Group LAN and WAN
